Working Family Solidarity Executive Director, Leone Jose Bicchieri, will facilitate our next Teach-In on Saturday, March 20th from 10 AM to Noon CST (5 PM Geneva, Switzerland Time), featuring U.S. and Europe-based activists. Our panel presenters, based in Paris, Geneva, and Rome, will explore "Racism and Worker Exploitation in the U.S. & Europe" with three different presentations, followed by questions and comments from participants from both the U.S. as well as Europe. This is a webinar presentation followed by Q&A and comments. A free event, & a quick/easy registration is required (see below).

Guest Speakers:
Abraham Mwaura will talk about the implications of white supremacist infiltration of the military and police in the United States as a strategy to undermine the civil rights of people of color, and why this is also a big concern to many countries, such as African nations.

Brigida Proto and Aida Fall will hold a dialogue and will discuss the ways that they changed their perception of each other (as a white woman and a black woman) when they were working together to address the problems of trading in public places in Sicily. They will also discuss the ways in which the economic crisis has changed Aida's work (as a market trader) with Italian colleagues, and the perspective she has for her future as a market trader.

Antonello Mangano will talk about immigration from various countries to Italy, including from Africa, and the situation immigrant workers face, especially in the agricultural sector.
